Our boarding community is a big family and each Boarding House provides a friendly and welcoming home.
As a school, we welcome over 100 different nationalities to our community, and the discovery of new cultures and languages is a privilege that we want our students to experience fully.
Students are encouraged to use all the benefits of belonging to this community to make friends from all over the world, discover new cultures and interests. In addition, this has the benefit of providing a global network for the future.

This villa, situated conveniently next to the campus, offers a cozy space for up to 11 students. Most rooms are triple sharing, although some doubles are available. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the building. We have a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and a large sitting room with television, Wii, and other entertainment and games. Outside there is a large, beautiful garden with space for football and other lawn games, as well as a huge swing, an organic garden and a paved patio with a barbecue, table and chairs for outdoor dining.
JB Terray is located a short 5-minute walk away from the campus, in a quiet residential area. This beautiful villa offers a cozy atmosphere with lots of privacy. Most rooms are triple sharing, although some doubles are available, and have Wi-Fi access. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a large sitting room with television and Wii, a ‘chill-out’ room, and a laundry. Students appreciate the beautiful garden and the opportunity to walk to school in a setting of natural beauty.
Our Louis Dégallier Villa is located a short 10-minute walk away from the campus, in a quiet residential area. It is very popular with older students who appreciate the privacy of this beautiful villa, in preparation for independent university living. Rooms are mostly twin sharing, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry and a large sitting room with television and Wii, plus Wi-Fi access throughout the house. Outside there is a beautiful private garden.
Louis Yung 7 is located a short 10-minute walk away from the campus, in a quiet residential area. It is very popular with older students who appreciate the privacy of this beautiful villa, in preparation for independent university living. Rooms are mostly twin sharing. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry, and a large sitting room with a television and Wii. The House has Wi-Fi access throughout. Outside there is a beautiful large private garden with space for activities and lawn games. There is a paved patio with a barbecue, table and chairs. Students appreciate the beautiful garden, and the opportunity to walk to school in a setting of natural beauty.
Portena House, combining Old Portena and New Portena, is located in the heart of the Primary campus and offers a welcoming environment for around 50 girls. Rooms vary between twin, and triple sharing, fostering a friendly community. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and spacious living rooms with a grand piano, TV, Wii, PlayStation, and a beautiful library. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and every room has desks. The part of the house serving the senior girls will be renovated for the start of the new school year and will feature modern contemporary furniture and en-suite bathrooms. Outside, the garden includes a decked area with picnic tables, sheltered by trees and next to an herb and vegetable garden.
Villa du Lac Boarding House was custom built to provide excellent boarding facilities for 36 girls. All rooms are twin-sharing, with desks, Wi-Fi, and en-suite toilet and shower facilities. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry, and a vast sitting room with a television and various electronic consoles. Outside, within private gated grounds, there is a beautiful garden with tables and benches to relax on.
The Boarding Houses and the rules are all based on the same principles that naturally occur in a family home. Each Boarding House has House Parents that are there to oversee the smooth running of student life.
The Houseparents live in and share the Boarding House with their team of Graduate Assistants, resident and non-resident Tutors. The team’s responsibility is to care for the children, some of whom may be away from home for the first time.
One of the main benefits of boarding is the round the clock education that students receive. This leads to effective academic, social and personal development.
The house parents and the tutors keep a close eye on both the academic performance and the wellbeing of each child and report back to parents on both areas in depth.
Boarding can provide an excellent transition from home to independence and maturity. The Senior Boarding Houses, and the outside villas, enable boys and girls to enjoy the benefits of boarding at an important stage in their school careers, and to prepare for life at university.
