Our Juilliard Experience: Inspiring Growth Through the Performing Arts

Every year, the SGS community comes together to celebrate our diversity and this year was no exception! We are proud to share that our beautiful Dragon family is represented by more than 50 countries.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, our students benefit from a unique collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

At Saint George School, we are committed to nurturing excellence and providing opportunities for our students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. This year, our Dragons have proudly represented not only SGS but also the Dominican Republic in some of the most prestigious international competitions in mathematics and informatics.

Sports at Saint George are not just an extracurricular activity they are a fundamental part of our students’ holistic development. Under the leadership of Head Coach Diego Gutiérrez and with the support of the teaching team composed by Keylor Mendoza, Willy Subdiaga, Santo Jaime "Leo",Edwin Gonzales, Eduardo Leyba, Margaret Guzman, Linibel De La Rosa and Michelle Polanco, this year has stood out for the unwavering commitment, excellence, and numerous achievements at both the national and school levels.

At Saint George, we believe that sports not only build strong bodies but also committed hearts and disciplined minds. That’s why every year we honour those who, through quiet leadership and consistent effort, have a profound impact on our students' lives.

At Saint George School, sports are more than just physical activity; they are values, a sense of community, and an opportunity for growth. This year, our girls’ team lived that spirit at their fullest during their participation in the Malta Morena Cup, a tournament that left an unforgettable mark on our athletes and the entire school community.

Students from 3rd Prep Dickinson have had an enriching cultural exchange through Nord Anglia’s pen pal program with students from College Champittet in Pully, Switzerland. This initiative has allowed students from both schools to connect, share experiences, and learn about each other’s cultures.

Saint George School brought the stage to life with its enchanting end-of-year Performing Arts Showcase: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. Our talented students delivered an unforgettable performance filled with singing, acting, dancing, and live music. More than just a show, it was a true celebration of growth, teamwork, and creativity.

With great excitement and sportsmanship, the long-awaited Saint George Cup 2025 came to a close after bringing together more than 26 schools from across the country in a vibrant celebration of athletics, community, and formative values. Over several days, the Saint George School campus became the stage for thrilling competitions in basketball, soccer, and volleyball, making this year’s tournament one to remember.

At Saint George School, we believe that every child is a storyteller, and every classroom is a space where imagination, inquiry, and creativity come to life. This month, our primary was filled with excitement, laughter, and proud smiles as we hosted our annual Publishing Parties with special guests' “Parents” across 1st to 6th Prep. A celebration of student voice, growth, and cross-curricular learning.
