  • What year group will my child be placed in?

We’ll confirm your child’s year group once we’ve received and reviewed your admissions documents, and the official interview (and test, if applicable) has taken place.

For Foundation 1 through to Year 2, our placement guidelines are as follows:

    • Foundation 1 is open to (toilet trained) children who are three years old on or before 1st September of the year of entry.

    • Year 1 is open to children who are five years old on or before 1st September of the year of entry.
  • What do your tuition fees include?

The tuition fees you pay will ensure your child receives an exceptional education that’s built around their needs, interests, and goals.

Our fees cover your child’s formal teaching and learning, as well as many of our extra-curricular activities. They also include trailblazing Nord Anglia Education collaborations with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UNICEF, as well as life-changing local and international service opportunities.

  • What curricula will my child follow?

Our students follow globally respected international curriculum pathways that support them from the early years through to graduation.

  • What qualifications do your teachers have?

Our teachers are highly qualified and have extensive experience of working in the world’s best international schools. They are experts in their field, who stay with us for an average of seven years – some for much longer. This creates a strong community where teachers are fully invested in both our holistic approach and our students’ progression.

To ensure ongoing quality, our teachers are regularly assessed against local and national benchmarks, as well as Nord Anglia’s stringent Quality Assurance Framework.

  • Do you offer students additional support?

We run a successful English as an Additional Language (EAL) Programme for Year 1 to 11 students who need extra help with their English. There isn’t a cost for this service, and our children quickly find their feet with the team’s support.

We also offer a Learning Support Programme for students who need supplementary academic, behavioural, or social development support. This programme has an additional cost, based on the type of help a student needs.

  • What extra-curricular activities do you offer?

Our extra-curricular activities offer something for everyone, ensuring your child has the chance to do what they love.

From sports and creative arts to maths and music, our enrichment programme encourages students to showcase their talents and pursue new passions beyond the classroom. You can find details of our clubs, music lessons, and skill development sessions (tutoring) in our extra-curricular handbook.

  • Do you provide lunch?

Our school cafeteria is run by Innergy, a leading Dutch company. They prepare tasty, healthy meals, which will give your child the energy they need for the day. Lunch subscriptions can be purchased online. Alternatively, your child is welcome to bring in a healthy packed lunch from home.

  • Do you run a bus service?

Our safe and efficient bus service can pick your child up and drop them home at the end of the day. The cost depends on where your family is based in Rotterdam.
