This year again, we had over 50 professionals representing their fields and companies, advising our students on their career choices. A huge thank you to all those who gave up their time to come into school and take part!
We had representatives from a wide spectrum of fields: from nuclear physics to diplomacy, medicine to engineering, HR to PR. We even had a rocket scientist who proved a popular draw.
An event like this is incredibly beneficial for both younger and older senior students; those who have an idea about their future path can get inside information on which courses and universities to attend, whereas those who do not know yet can ask questions to people from a wide range of professions.
We are already looking forward to next year’s edition!
Michal and Jaroslav, our IB students and members of the Entrepreneurship Club, have clear expectations from the club: they want to learn about themselves and enhance their knowledge and skills in building a business.

Come on, it’s not rocket science. For some people it is! A 2022 graduate from PBIS, Ilyes is currently working on his bachelor's degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, physics, and computer science at Sorbonne University in Paris. Apart from his academic work, he’s also working on a modest side project: developing a jet engine. His approach, in his own words, is to “learn as much as possible about everything” so he can apply his knowledge to real-world situations and make the world a smarter, better place.
