We are very excited to welcome all our wonderful Northbridge International School Cambodia students back to school. I have been back on campus for two weeks now and have really enjoyed working with teachers to ensure we continue to offer a robust learning experience.

Welcome everyone to a new academic year at Northbridge International School Cambodia. As this is my first post I thought it might be good to tell you something about me as the new Head of Secondary.

We are extremely excited to announce the outstanding and impressive results of our 2021 International Baccalaureate (IBDP) graduating class at Northbridge International School Cambodia. Our Class of 2021 impressively achieved the school’s best ever results with an IBDP average score of 36 points, 3 points higher than this year’s IBDP global average of 33.

The Northbridge International School Cambodia annual Art Exhibition and Festival of Lights was presented virtually this year as a result of the continued challenges with COVID19 and the closure of our school campus.

We made it! What another incredible year for us at Northbridge International School Cambodia. This is the time of year for us as educators to reflect on goals met, goals still in motion and what we need to push to the top of our lists next year. It is also a time for us to celebrate our wins and achievements with our students through awards and presentations.

After a long and challenging year, the Northbridge International School Cambodia Class of 2021 finally graduated. Congratulations Grade 12! Hear their thoughts in the video below.

On Tuesday at 4pm our Grade 5 PYP Exhibition links went live. The PYP Exhibition is the culminating project of the PYP programme and an opportunity for the students to apply all they have learnt through their time at Northbridge International School Cambodia in an area they are passionate about.

The last 18 months at Northbridge International School Cambodia have seen PE classes both on campus and online. Those during the Virtual School Experience (VSE) have been adapted to Covid restrictions and our students have responded superbly with their attitude and commitment during this time. However, as we approach the summer break it is vital that parents and caregivers continue with the efforts in providing physical activities for our students whenever possible.

The biggest shift in any school education program is the transition from primary school to middle school. Everything is different, from the size of the school, to more students in each class, different teachers, accessibility of teachers, implementation of lessons and communication with families. Northbridge International School Cambodia is no different.

Every month, Northbridge International School Cambodia parents are invited to Parent Coffee Morning, where our staff provide important updates on the school's development. Here are the highlights from May 2021.

Translanguaging is the interaction between two languages. Translanguaging happens when multilingual speakers use all their languages interchangeably in order to achieve successful communication. For many of our students at Northbridge International School Cambodia, translanguaging is used naturally and flexibly as a strategy to gain understanding, make meanings and shape experience in social and educational settings.

Northbridge International School Cambodia is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Angela Botero as the new Deputy Head of Primary and PYP Coordinator from August 2021.
