Year 5 Students wins multiple music awards

Congratulations to Year 5 Patrick on winning multiple awards for his music composition "Chase Of The Wild”.

Patrick entered a few music competitions earlier in the year and won:

• Third Place in the Elementary II category (9-11 years old) at the Chicago Area Music Teachers Association (CAMTA) Composition Festival 2020. 
• Illinois Representative in the Elementary category (5-10 years old) at the 2020-2021 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Composition Competition. 
• Honorable Mention for the East Central Division (five states of IL, IN, MI, OH, WI) in the Elementary category (5-10 years old) at the 2020-2021 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Composition Competition. (There is only one winner and one Honorable Mention for the East Central Division.)
