Nord Anglia Education - Global Sports Competition Last term, BIS entered the Nord Anglia Education Global Sports Competition, and the results were sensational! Read about just how well our students did on a world stage.

Last term, BIS entered the Nord Anglia Education Global Sports Competition, and the results were sensational!

30 schools from across the worl participated in this event. Our Primary Campus students, along with their Secondary peers participated in this huge event taking part during school, with every child scoring points for all sporting disciplines entered in Athletics and Swimming.

Miss Emily has already given an account of our swimmers' efforts, and now an incredible set of results from our young ethletes has witnessed our very own British International School finish as CHAMPIONS in the medals table amongst the thirty competing international global schools.

This is a fantastic set of results, and a great effort on behalf of all our student competitors along with the PE Department. A HUGE “Thank You” to every student who participated in this event. You have made us all proud.

Embracing the culture and traditions of our host country Vietnam: Moon Festival 2024

Last Tuesday 17th September our Early Years and Primary students and staff excitedly came together to celebrate Moon Festival. Also known as Mid- Autumn Festival and ‘Tết Trung Thu’ in Vietnamese, Moon Festival is a significant cultural event in Vietnam. It’s held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the year. This is also one of the highlights of international school life here at BIS HCMC as we value and respect the significance and embrace the culture and traditions of our beautiful host country, Vietnam.
