Our BIS Hanoi members came together on Sunday, November 5th, to participate in the BritCham Fun Run event, and the sight was truly incredible. 

It has been heartwarming to see students arriving at school this week with bags full of soft toys and books. 

What a busy week we have had here at BIS Hanoi, and it looks set to be another busy weekend of activities.

As we approach the end of Term 1, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have experienced together.

Embarking on exciting residential trips, students from Years 7 to 12 have been engaging in a wide range of activities, creating unforgettable memories along the way.

It certainly was a spooktacular start to the week, with scary-looking characters filling the corridors of our Primary school during the Halloween Trick-or-Treat event organised by our wonderful parent community.

This week our Year 7-12 students embarked on their exciting residential trips to various places around Vietnam.

Embarking on a thrilling three-day expedition, our Year 13 students embarked on a joint geography and ESS trip to Bach Ma National Park that left them spellbound.

Leading international schools provider Nord Anglia Education announced the launch of its groundbreaking new education magazine called INSIGHTS.

As we return to school after a holiday, it is also a chance to reset and refocus; think about those expectations that help us perform better and build better habits.

Welcome back to the second half of Term 1, 2023–24

Next week, from Tuesday to Friday, our year-level residential trips occur for Years 7 to 12, embarking on exciting and enriching expeditions through Vietnam.

With students from over 30 nationalities, the festival was a colourful and immersive experience, offering a glimpse into different cultures through various forms of music, dance, and cuisine.

International Week is a celebration of diversity, culture, and global unity, and it holds a special place in our hearts.

This week has been our International Week, culminating in our great International Flag Parade.

A reminder that this weekend we will be hosting the highly anticipated International Fair, marking the beginning of our exciting International Week. 

In a truly remarkable showcase of talent and creativity, our school had the privilege of hosting Linh An, a dance artist from Theatre Dance Vietnam, for an awe-inspiring dance theatre workshop.

As we approach the end of term, the calendar has been full of exit points, celebrations, and showcases of work. 

International Festival preparations and rehearsals are well under way in readiness for tomorrow's event.
