There have been exciting opportunities to celebrate learning this week with International Pi Day as well as Science Week, which this year celebrated recent discoveries on Mars.

1,370 students from 64 schools shared outstanding musical performances for our team of global judges and students from BIS Hanoi were amongst the winners!

Next week is Science Week, Ms. Colclough, our Primary Science Leader has an exciting week planned for all the students.

It was great to have so many of you join our first Principal’s Coffee Morning on Tuesday this week.

As we quickly move towards the final exams in April and May, our students' progress and welfare are our number 1 priority.

Our full Virtual School Experience (VSE) program has gone straight into action again for our students this week and we await patiently for a change of permission to follow in due course.

While we greatly missed the students this week, learning has continued with its usual energy and excitement.

This year's Book Week was held virtually, but that didn't stop our students and teachers from celebrating.

Year 9s have been working hard in tutor time and well-being lessons writing supportive messages over the last week.

The Geography lesson was another huge success, as both the Primary and Secondary teams thoroughly enjoyed their lesson together.

All students showed great resilience and perseverance as they got stuck into Virtual School again this week.

This week we have had a full and productive week of learning and activities both on campus and on virtual school (VSE).

As the weather finally improves, there is not only spring in the air but also a spring in step of every student.

It can be challenging for the students but maintaining a good sleep habit allows them to focus on their studies while also balancing their physical and mental health.

It has been absolutely wonderful to welcome new students of Years 2-6 onto campus this week.

What a wonderful start to the Lunar New Year we have had with our Year 8 to Year 13 students returning to on-campus learning for the mornings.

After almost 10 months of virtual learning, by next Monday we will finally have Year 7-13 students back on campus for in-person learning.

On behalf of all the staff and students at BIS Hanoi, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Happy Lunar New Year 2022.

A big thank you to everyone who has donated this week to the Great Tet Race this week.

It was great to meet a number of new and returning parents at our Friends of BIS coffee morning on Monday.
