We are delighted to share the success of Year 10 student Gia Khanh, whose mastery of Philosophy was recognised at the International Philosophy Olympiad (IPO).

Term 3 is always a very busy time in international schools, and BIS Hanoi is no exception.

It was wonderful to see some of the youngest members of the BIS Hanoi community embracing adventure, enjoying unforgettable experiences, and forming closer bonds with their classmates and peers. 

Year 5 set off on their holidays again this week on Thursday morning as they travelled the world around the school.

On Thursday this week, our Year 13 students paraded around the school in their caps and gowns, while students lined up outside their classrooms to applaud them.

We have been delighted to welcome back our in-person visits from Julliard curriculum specialists, who are instrumental to the development of Performing Arts teaching and learning here at BIS.

It has been wonderful to welcome all our students back this week, all of whom seem to have grown taller again over the holidays!

This week got off to a great start for the whole school community as we welcome a number of new students joining us across Primary and Secondary year groups.

It is hard to believe we are in Term 3 already, with only 10 weeks until the end of the school year and the long summer break.

The conference was built on the success of last year’s virtual edition and was a great success which was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees.

What an incredible final week of term it has been. Over the last two weeks, teachers and phase leaders have been reviewing the progress that each and every individual student has made
